Fakeeh-Daman Program took a visionary leap in inclusive healthcare with a historic signing ceremony under the patronage of the Minister of Labor and Social Development.
Jeddah, 14th Nov 2023 (Date): Under the generous patronage ofHis Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development, the signing ceremony of the Fakeeh Daman Program took place, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister in charge, Eng. Sultan Al-Jaris, and Professor Ayman Abdo, SVP of Fakeeh Care Group and CEO of Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Riyadh.
The agreement was signed by Engineer SultanAl-Jaris and Professor Ayman Abdo, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, and Bupa Insurance Company.
The Fakeeh Daman program comes out of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development’s keenness to provide healthcare to citizens and residents in the Kingdom, and as part of its initiatives to cover the needs of different segments of society, especially the neediest groups. This is comes as one of Dr.Soliman Fakeeh Hospital eagerness to strive for having beneficial Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.The Initiative is planned as part of the corporate social responsibility programs of Fakeeh Care Group.
The program aims to provide health care to a portion of Social Security members, by providing them with comprehensive health services at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospitals. Those members will be covered by Bupa Arabia and Dr.Soliman Fakeeh Hospitals will be the sole provider.
In his speech during the signing ceremony,Engineer Sultan Al-Jaris stressed that the Fakeeh Daman program constitutes an important step in strengthening the partnership between the government and private sectors and supporting the ministry’s efforts in providing healthcare for citizens and residents.
He added that the program reflects the Ministry's commitment to achieving its strategic goals, including providing social protection for citizens and residents, and improving their quality of life.
For his part, Professor Ayman Abdo expressed his happiness at signing the agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, stressing that the hospital was keen to provide the best health services to citizens and residents, in accordance with their needs and desires.
He pointed out that the program will contribute to providing comprehensive health care to its beneficiaries and raising the level of their health and well-being.
Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fakeeh Care Group, expressed that the Fakeeh Daman Program is a model to be followed in the partnership between the government and private sectors both providers and insurers, and enhances the state’s efforts in providing healthcare to citizens and residents.
